My father almost died because of an NAU student texting and driving. She didn’t see him and turned right in front of him while he was riding his motorcycle home after a long shift at work. Because of her careless act she could have caused his 4 children to grow up without a father. I will never forget that day. I pledge to NEVER text and drive and I pledge to help other around me quite distracted driving, it’s not okay to do, it doesn’t make you look cool, it makes you look careless and immature.
