I pledge to NOT TEXT while DRIVING…Katie Norton
I take the pledge to not text and drive.
I will not drive distracted, eyes on the road!
I promise I will not text while driving. I will pull over at a safe place to text or use phone.
I just simply will not operate my cell phone while driving my vehicle, period. It can wait, it’s not worth my life or someone else’s.
I pledge not to drive distracted
No distracted driving
IT CAN WAIT! I am telling my family what I am pledging for and my 5 year old daughter says to me “Yeah, be patient. Being patient is important!” If even a 5 year old can realize this fact, then we all need to as well. I will no longer mess around on my phone while I am driving. I also pledge to keep my driver from doing the same when I am a passenger.
I pledge not to text and drive because it’s stupid and not worth it.
I pledge to never let myself become distracted on the road, and to wait until I reach my destination before focusing on anything other than driving.
I pledge to keep my eyes on the road and not on my phone. Being on my phone will not only put my life in danger but the lives of others, and more importantly my 2 year old daughter’s live in danger. It can wait, there’s nothing more important than the life of someone or the someone you love that’s worth checking your phone over. It’s my responsibility as parent to keep my child safe and teach her to her eyes on the road! Being distracted for more than a second can cost someone’s life. It can wait…
I will not text and drive! Our lives are far more important than any message on my phone.
I will not text and drive because I know it not only puts myself at risk but everyone around me.
I pledge to keep myself and everyone around me safe while on the road. Never text and drive!
I pledge that I will not text and drive. It can wait and nothing is more important than my family and I.
Stop my distracted driving immediately. Pull over and off the road if need to use cell phone.
No more distracted driving.
No more texting while driving.
Use Bluetooth for phone calls.
To never text and drive.
I pledge I will not text and drive
I pledge never to text and drive! Pull of the road and park if you need to call or respond to a cell phone call. Drivers, we are operating big machines that can damage or kill people so please do not multi-task. Pay attention to safety rules and let’s take care of each other. America’s number one statistic is that accidents are the number one killer of our people. Yes, your cell phone usage while driving can wait.
I pledge to not text and drive at the same time.
I pledge not to text and drive in order to prevent future accidents, save lives and be a role model to others! #ItCanWait

I need to set the example for my kids that safe driving is a priority. Love the ones you’re with. My cell phone is only available when I have two feet on the ground.
I pledge to not text and drive, or even look at my phone on the road, at stoplights or even stop signs. Only when the car is in park, and off. Everyone’s lives matter more than a selfish text.
It can wait, I pledge to not text or use social media when I am the driver of a vehicle.

i 100% pledge to not drive and get distracted with the phone!!! i am a single mom with a teenager that i am teaching to drive and i dont want him to think its ok to txt or fiddle with the phone..in fact when he drives..he literally throws his phone into the back seat! 🙂 we see all the people on the road that r always on their phones and it really makes us mad and we actually play a game where we try to decide if the distracted driver is on the phone or eating or whatever and most the time they r on their phones! My kid will be having a stick shift old pathfinder that is very beat up..so even if he thinks about txtn and drivn…its too difficult as a new driver with a stick shift..yet he is a responsible kid and i have set a great example for him. <3 i want to win that subaru so that he can have a vehicle that he can be proud of and so he can commute in a safer vehicle as a new driver. i will also have him TAKE THE PLEDGE this evening so that he can have accountability while learning.
Never drive while eating, on the phone, or over all being distracted.
I will eliminate distractions while driving, especially by not texting and driving. A life is more precious than any text or notification. #itcanwait

With the advent of smartphones, drivers are increasingly distracted on the road. When you take the road, you take responsibility for not only yourself and your passengers but also everyone around you. Social media and texting is not worth killing yourself or other people. It can wait.
I pledge to not text or change music while driving.
I pledge to not use my phone while driving. As a young adult and student, I have so much left ahead of me, it is not worth it to pick up my phone and drive distracted. I know by doing that I put myself and every other driver on the road from other young adults, to families to people going to work at risk of injury or even worse. Anything on my phone is not as important as another person’s life. IT CAN WAIT.
I pledge not to text and drive and make sure that others in my community do not text and drive.

I have bluetooth in my vehicle and am never distracted while driving. I believe it should be required by law that all vehicles be equipped with bluetooth. Perhaps sponsors of this program can push forward with helping people get bluetooth installed in vehicles instead of giving away just one vehicle.
