I pledge to keep my eyes on the road for Zaadii. No text message is as important as someone’s life that could be taken away because of the 2 seconds we thought were so important to look down to read or type. I pledge that it can wait! I hope others join us too, no one should have to go through what The Tso Family has. This of course is not limited to just texting. It is any form of distracted driving: driving while too emotional, driving with the music too loud so you cant hear other cars horns or screeching breaks, or talking on the phone where your eyes may be looking abead but your brain is not. I am 28, and saw us go from having no cell phones, to cell phones that took minutes to write 5 words, to the qwerty keyboard and instant communication as the norm. Now that it only takes a few seconds to send a text, during which someone could be hurt, I take the pledge that it can wait!
